The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), on June 03, 2026, has notified the formats to be used under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Information Utilities) Regulations, 2017, as amended on June 01, 2026.
The following has been stated:
The circular specifies five forms covering key processes relating to Information Utilities (IUs), including application for registration or renewal, issuance of registration certificates, submission of information by users, issuance of records of default, and issuance of information of dispute. The notified forms are Form A (Application for Registration/Renewal), Form B (Certificate of Registration), Form C (Submission of Information by User), Form D (Record of Default), and Form E (Information of Dispute). The circular has been issued under Sections 196 and 240 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and is effective immediately.
